Traditionally, together with the Kherson Regional State Administration, the role of a coorganizer of the Forum has carried out by the Kherson Chamber of Commerce and Industry. This year exactly thanks to the Chamber the guests of honor became high-ranking representatives of diplomatic missions of Iran, Italy, Kyrgyzstan, as well as the First vice-president of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Ukraine Mikhail Nepran.

The Forum “Tavrian horizons” gave an opportunity to potential investors and the interested business circles to study the most perspective projects of agroindustrial sector, tourism and power efficiency spheres. Signing of a number of memorandums on cooperation in various directions of development became the beginning of new prospects of the region formation in the field of international partnership.

Important and promising was the work of four business sections: «Development of tourist industry in Kherson region», «Energy efficiency», «Formation of public development principles based on international experience», «Export potential: agriculture, industry, services». Exactly the last one became a platform for discussion of further strategy of interaction between agroindustrial enterprises, bank representatives, investment companies and funds not only in Ukraine, but also abroad. An area manager of the Italian company "Mill Service" Mr. Luigi Katerina participated in the panel discussion. The enterprise, which is specialized in flour manufacturing and complete sets as well as export of grain-crushing equipment to the countries of Europe, can be an assistant to many Kherson producers of this branch in export planning and improvement of working conditions. Now the heads of PJSC “Kherson enterprise of grain production” and JSC “Kherson enterprise of grain production”, the honorable representative of «Association of the Ukrainian and Turkish businessmen» in Kherson discussed with the manager of "Mill Service" a number of questions on further cooperation.

The Kherson CCI established own two-day program for the guests which allowed to expand the work of presentation platform and to glance deeper into the region. There was a meeting of Kyrgyz Ambassador to Ukraine, Mr. Ulukbek Chinaliyev with administration of Antonovka village comprehensive school on September, 26, where the Norwegian project «Green school» was carried out. He also visited Vinogradovo village where paid tribute to the Kirghiz who had lost in days of war there.

The Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Ukraine Mr. Mohammad Beheshti visited Oles Gonchar Kherson regional universal scientific library. The Ambassador readily discussed with administration of the library further prospects of Ukrainian-Iranian cooperation which could be developed now at regional level, and met the heads of novokakhovsky JSC “Agrofirma imeny Solodukhina”, visited later on the same day.

The Forum “Tavrian horizons” became a place of generation of new ideas, joint efforts of diplomats, officials and businessmen for understanding of a strategic way of the unique territory which could join over time to the international trade and economic family. By the way, Mr. Marko Toson, the Honourable consul of Ukraine in Italy, in one of the speeches noted: «Regions of the Italian Republic and the Kherson region are as fingers of one hand: if we knuckle, we will have the real mechanism for many social and economic obstacles overcoming». It is a forward-looking perspective. Meanwhile a handshake of Iran and Italy diplomats during the Press-conference, testifies that Kherson region moves both to the West and the East in its dynamic way of integration to the international economic initiatives.
