Almost for two years the Kherson Chamber of Commerce has been working with Alborz Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines and agriculture, the Islamic Republic of Iran. From 21 to 23 of February the delegation of businessmen and representatives of Ministry of Agriculture of mentioned region came to Kherson with a business visit. The delegation was headed by Mr. Rahim Bana Molaei, the president of Alborz CCI, and Mr. Majid Musavi, the Minister of agriculture.

The Iranian businessmen and officials examined a possibility of collaboration in the field of extraterritorial farming agriculture, grain and forage crops purchase, and creation of joint business on sheep and cattle breeding also.

On February, 21, the Iranian delegation participated in working meeting with Alexander Palyvoda, Chief of Agricultural Development Department of Kherson Regional State Administration, during which there was acquired the information on specialization of Kherson in the agro-industry, agricultural legislation of Ukraine, possibilities for creation of joint ventures.

Also, in the Kherson Chamber there had been held the B2B meetings with the enterprises - members of Chamber, which gave to Kherson businessmen the opportunity to discuss the terms of agriproducts supplying to Iran. Unfortunately, the possibility of direct bank accountings between Iran and Ukraine is today's question, and that makes the business circles of both countries to carry out transactions by the third countries.

On February, 22, the members of the Iranian delegation visited the "Askaniyskoye" Research Farm, where they became acquainted with the features of stock-raising in the Kherson area, in particular, the questions of sheep breeding and grain-crops growing had been discussed. The Iranian businessmen visited "Green-Team" company too.

On February, 23, the delegation of Alborz province with Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Ukraine Mr. Mohammad Monfared-Beheshti, who visited Kherson for participating in the Agrarian Conference, met with the governor of the Kherson region, - Mr. Andrey Gordeev. During this meeting the delegates discussed possibilities of investing in the agricultural products production in Kherson with the purpose to adjust its deliveries to Iran and to EU countries. The questions of joint ventures creation, engaged in plant-growing, stock-raising and agriproducts processing, had been considered also.

The President of Alborz Chamber of trade, industry, mines and agriculture, Mr. Rahim Bana Molaei, noticed that a collaboration in the format of earth leasing is possible too, but the Iranian side would like to define clearly the norms of such cooperation and to conclude a treaty on lease for a term of 5-10 years at least. He also noticed that has already been acquainted with agricultural possibilities of many countries, but in Ukraine the discussed potential is the largest to develop.

The representatives of Iranian delegation also mentioned, that besides a collaboration in the field of traditional for Kherson agriculture they are interested in possibility of growing on exotic in our region olives. 

On the same date the Iranian businessmen took part in proceedings of the Agrarian Conference the "New stage of agriproducts export" and examined the South agroindustrial fair "The Farmer- 2017 ".

The Kherson businessmen should study more actively the possibilities of collaboration with the Iranian regions, as it is a considerable market of sale indeed, and then, in accordance with government of Ukraine, Iran remains one of our main trade partners. Economic interests of Iran on development of the Eurasian Energy Collaboration coincide with the geostrategic aims of Ukraine.
