From that point on Kherson enterprises have even more opportunities for searching partners in Belarus!

President of Kherson CCI Viktoria Ostroumova is on a working visit to Belarus now and agrees with Belarusian colleagues the directions of business cooperation development and the schedule of future  business events. Thus, on April 9, negotiations with the Director General of Grodno Branch of the Belarusian Communist Party Mitschislav Kostyuk were held, which resulted in signing of Agreement on cooperation between Kherson and Grodno regional chambers. Also, the President of the KCCI met today with the Chairman of the Executive Committee in the city of Schuchin Sergey Lohozhnik and visited the  Shchuchinskiy butter plant. Members of the delegation held talks with administration of the plant, got acquainted with the production facilities and products.

Reference: Grodno region is located in the west of Belarus and borders with Poland and Lithuania; it has developed road infrastructure (international highways, railways and river transport). The main industry is chemical; also there advanced food industry, machine building, metalworking, construction materials production. In the agrarian sector dairy and meat cattle breeding prevail. In the industrial zone of cities of Grodno and Lida free economic zone "Grodnoinvest" is placed.
