On April 24-25, representatives of Kherson business circles and the president of KCCI Viktoria Ostroumova took part in the International Economic Forum and the IX Universal Republican Exhibition-Fair "Orsha Traditions", arranged in Orsha, Vitebsk region.

Orsha is a modern industrial and logistic center, railway and motorways intersection, and the "Eastern Gate" of the Republic of Belarus. Orsha region – is the flagship of flax, possesses a powerful agrarian complex. The industry is represented by enterprises of machine building, metalworking, light industry, building materials, meat and dairy, food and other industries. The industry sructure of Orsha consists of light and food branches, which are the key factors.

The essential subjects of business events in Orsha were the investment and innovation potential of the regions, export and customs support issues, novelties of goods and services. During negotiations, the delegates of Kherson paid particular attention for finding out the possibilities for developing of new forms and directions of cooperation between Kherson and Vitebsk regions.
