The seminar "The current issues of integration of Ukraine into the European
Community'' was held in the conference hall of the Kherson Chamber of Commerce & Industry
on May 18.
The new program of cooperation of Ukraine and the EU — "The order of business of the association of Ukraine and EU" was adopted on June 5, 2009, a key element of which was part of a free trade zone in the territory of Ukraine.
Today, only a very narrow circle of experts is a whole volume and complexity of the issues facing our country in connection with the negotiations began with the EU to establish a free trade area, namely, the enormous amount of European norms and standards must be part of the Ukrainian legislation as soon as possible. It is assumed that the transitional periods, there will be few, to the European standards will reach from 3 to 5 years.
The seminar was held to expand the general rules of issuing preferential certificates for trade of goods and services between Ukraine and EU countries. The event was attended by representatives of management certification of origin of Commerce and Industry of Ukraine, leading experts of Kherson Chamber of Commerce & Industry, representatives of Kherson Customs, managers of foreign economic activity of enterprises of Kherson, brokers and agents.
First Vice-President of KCCI, Valentina Udod, said the main exporters of the Kherson region, carrying out trade relations with EU countries.
Among the member companies of Kherson Chamber of Commerce, exported products to the EU: "Korabel", Ltd., "Tehteks, Ltd., ''Globart", Ltd., "KZESO", JSC, "Kherson confectionery factory", JSC, ''Chumak'', CJSC, ''Astra L'', Ltd., subsidiary enterprise ''Kherson sea port'', ''Beryslav engineering plant'', JSC ''Auto Elektromash'', Ltd., ''Hersones'', Ltd., ''TDK-Trans'', Ltd., "Dnepr-2'', research and industrial private enterprise ''Sudmash'', Ltd., ''AP Group'', Ltd., ''Spartechnotrade", Ltd., ''SVL trance'', Ltd.. The main importers in the EU: the Baltic countries, Hungary, Bulgaria, Romania, Poland, Germany, Austria, Italy and France.
Tkachenko Neonilla, head of the department of certification of Commerce and Industry of Ukraine, spoke about the procedure of issuing of certificates of origin for export of goods to EU countries, namely preferential certificate (form A) under the Generalized System of Preferences (EU, Japan, Turkey), certificate of origin for textiles exported to the European Union; certificate of origin (ECSC) for products exported to EU countries, preferential certificate EUR 1 for exports to the Republic of Macedonia.
