The Kherson Chamber of Commerce took part in business meeting with Polish companies participating in the project «GreenEvo - Green Technology Accelerator" held  on October 24, 2012, in Kiev.

The business meeting with Polish entrepreneurs participating in the project «GreenEvo» was arranged by  the Trade and Investment Promotion Department of the Polish Embassy in Ukraine, with the assistance of the PUHP in Kiev.

«GreenEvo - Green Technology Accelerator" - is the project developed by the Polish Ministry of Environment. It has been held for three years already. The project is aimed at promoting Polish green technologies to foreign markets and rendering export support. The winners of the competition within the project  GreenEvomay expect various forms of support - from participation in foreign trade missions to the provision of financial assistance from the export support means provided by the Ministry of Economy and the Polish Agency for Enterprise Development.

At the business meeting  there were the following Polish companies-winners of the project:

• "ASKET" (wet biomass briquetting technology);
• "Promar" (control systems in using electric power, heat, gas and water in houses);
• "PP Eko" (production technologies of pure technological water);
• "Ekotop" (solar drying of precipitates);
• "FU-Wi" (heating equipment for biomass);
• "Multichem Eko" (processing waste technologies), etc.

Participants of the project «GreenEvo - Green Technology Accelerator" shared with Ukrainian enterprises their experience in environmental control, as well as knowledge concerning specific legal regulations, technical norms and standards applicable in the foreign markets.

Ukrainian companies are interested in this project inasmuch as  green technologies  or environmental technologies promote  saving materials, reducing energy consumption and pollutant emission. They also allow using renewable energy sources, recuperating valuable by-products and reducing problems connected with waste disposal. This all increases the ecological efficiency, or in other words, allow expanding production at smaller consumption of resources thus making the production process more ecological.
