On May, 15-17, the President of Association of Italy and Ukraine Mr. Laghezza Masci and the Director General Ms. Alla Romashko had visited the city of Kherson in order to expand international relationships and partnership between Italy and Ukraine.

During the visit of Italian guests to Kherson Chamber of Commerce, the KCCI President Ms. Viktoriya Ostroumova and the President of Association of Italy and Ukraine Mr. Laghezza Masci have signed a Cooperation Agreement. It is expected that this cooperation will result into  joint projects and new possibilities of information exchange on the proposals of Ukrainian and Italian companies, which are interested in trade-economic relations, cultural cooperation development and creation of favorable conditions for strengthening the comprehensive relations between friendly countries.

About the Association of Italy and Ukraine

The Association of Italy and Ukraine (AIU) was founded in 2003 as a non-government organization aimed at promotion of development of economic relations, trade, technical, legal, scientific and cultural cooperation between Italy and Ukraine. AIU's main goal is to support trade exchanges with Italy, to assist economic operators, to maintain development of international economic relations and cooperation.

The Association works in close rapport with the Italian Embassy in Ukraine, ICE, the Italian Cultural Institute, as well as with the Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, distributing economic information that is useful to facilitate partnerships between Italian and Ukrainian enterprises.

The members of AIU are legal entities and individuals, Italian and Ukrainian entrepreneurs interested in developing mutually beneficial Ukrainian-Italian relations.
