President of National Chamber of Ukraine Mr.Gennadiy Chizhykov and Chairman of the State Land Bank Management Board Ms. Svitlana Skosyrska signed the Memorandum of cooperation.

The organizations decided to unite their efforts in achieving the mutual aim - to improve the stable development of agricultural territories. The bank and national Chamber of Ukraine agreed to support the agro business, to contribute to growth in living standards in rural areas, to ensure the awareness of community and business circles as to the main urgent problems of agricultural industry. This also refers to inventing effective means of financial and credit insurance for small and medium businesses and farming, introducing alternative ways of arguments solving through international commercial arbitration and mediation court.

For this purpose, further cooperation is based on understanding the Ukrainian Chamber as a national-scale organization contributing to national economy development, its integration to the world economy system. The Chamber is creating favourable conditions for enterprising. The Ukrainian CCI has the representative functions not only in Ukraine but also abroad. In its turn, "State Land Bank" which is obliged to finance the land market and agrarian branch under conditions of a well-developed market economy, and which is the main state enterprise in reforming the agrarian branch, receives new reliable partner represented by the National Chamber.

“The Chamber, being one of the biggest business associations in Ukraine, is interested in dynamic development of such a strategic branch of economy as agriculture. We are ready to support the Bank in this sphere", said Gennadiy Chizhikov.

The Memorandum has defined main cooperation ways:

• Mutual arrangements of events with the aim to discuss urgent problems of monitoring in regard to business activities, state regulatory policy in agrarian sphere and in the sphere of land matters;
• Coordination of actions of creating supportive economic environment that would encourage the entrepreneurship development and stimulate the inflow of foreign and state investments to national economy in agro-industry;
• Setting-up of State Land Bank representative offices in Ukrainian regions at the premises of the regional Chambers, etc.

For further dialogue development the parties agreed to create an advisory council in order to prepare draft regulations regarding agro-industry and to develop proposals for improving matters existing in the sphere.
