On May 19, 2011 there was held a combined business meeting of the Presidents of Prydniprovya CCI Association and Russian Central Federal District CCI Association in the city of Gomel as a part of the XII International Universal Fair “Spring in Gomel”, with participation of International Black Sea Club representatives. The Kherson Chamber of Commerce and Industry was represented by vice-president Tetyana Brykova.

At  the conference, there were 25 leaders of the Chambers of Commerce and Industry, who are members of Prydniprovya and Russian Central Federal District CCI Associations, and also an International Black Sea Club representative: Belgorod region CCI, Bryansk CCI, Voronezh CCI, Dmytrovsk interregional CCI, Kostroma region CCI, Kursk CCI, Lipetsk CCI, Moscow CCI, Moscow region CCI, Odintsov CCI, Rybinsk CCI, Smolensk CCI, Solnechnogorsk CCI, Tula CCI, Tver CCI, Tambov regional CCI, Yaroslav CCI, Belarus CCI’s Homel department, Belarus CCI’s Mogylyov department, Kherson CCI, Chernihiv CCI, Poltava CCI’s Kremenchuk department.

Other participants of the conference were Deputy Chief of Homel Regional Executive Committee Pirshtuk Boleslav; President of Belorus CCI Myatlikov Myhail; Vice-President of Russian Federation CCI Rybakov Oleksandr; Director of International Black Sea Club Business Council and President of Taganrog interregional CCI Amerhanov Aleksandr. The conference was lead by President of Russian Central Federal District CCI Association and the President of Moscow CCI Kotov Yuriy.

A speech was made by:
Deputy Chief of Belorus CCI – Chief Director of Belorus CCI’s Homel department – Starovoytov Vasiliy with a report in “Main directions of collaboration between Belorus CCI’s departments and chambers which are members of the Association”. Presidents of Russian and Ukrainian CCI were offered for consideration new directions of collaboration, such as: cooperation in innovations, mutual participation in projects of the European initiative, small businesses support. Also a role of Chambers in the Customs Union was discussed, as well as the problems which have occurred after its foundation.

The President of Russian Central Federal District CCI Association - the President of Moscow CCI Kotov Yuriy presented a report “Development of cooperation between Russian Central Federal District CCI Association and partner Ukrainian and Belorus CCI”;

Vice-President of Kherson CCI T.S.Brykova reported about the role of the Chambers of Prydniprovya CCI Association in the development of economic and humanitarian cooperation programs, ecological program of Dnipro Basement development;

Director of International Black Sea Club Business Council and President of Taganrog interregional CCI Amerhanov A.M. underlined possible ways of cooperation between Associations and non-profitable organization “of International Black Sea Club”.

Based on the results of the conference such decisions were made:
1. To create a working group of suggestions development for the broadening of the activity sphere of Russian Central Federal District CCI Association.
2. To recommend CCI Associations to continue active influence on the processes of providing versatile support to the development of interregional and international cooperation, including:
- to study and use the experience of regional chambers in interregional and international cooperation in order to develop regions;
- to take part in developing and arranging different agreements in collaboration;
- to develop agreement-arranging practice concerning cooperation between regional chambers and regional administration;
- to give to members of their CCI and all interested organizations all the information about foreign economic and interregional activity, give practical help in organization of region presentation, regional chambers and enterprise-members of chambers;
- to regularly take part in preparation and holding of business forums, business missions and presentations, to assist using business and intellectual potential of the enterprise, Universities and scientific and research organizations;
3. To continue spreading the positive experience of regional CCI in supporting entrepreneurship, spreading goods and services of their CCI members, first of all, high-level refinement production, help raise its competitiveness.
4. To promote investment and scientific collaboration and industrial cooperation with regional and foreign partners.
5. To develop together with regional chambers and entrepreneurs associations interregional and frontier collaboration with the countries of the Community, take part in forming the legislative base of frontier collaboration.
6. To continue developing the informational exchange between Russian and foreign participants of the cooperation considering exporting possibilities and importing needs of entrepreneurs and their foreign partners.

The participants of the mutual business conference took part in the ceremony of the festive opening of the XII International Universal Fair “Spring in Gomel”, II International exhibition “Gomelpromexpo” and in VIII Gomel economic forum.
