On November 2, 2011 in the conference hall of Kherson CCI a meeting concerning the development of investment model of Kherson industrial complex was held.

The event was initiated by the governor's counselor, manager of "Competitive Kherson region" project Mr Valentin Pidvysotsky together with the General director of  LLC "Mechanical Plant" Mr Stanislav Putilov and the director of the SMEs support Center of Kherson CCI Ms Natalia Kraynyuk.

To exchange experiences and viewpoints there were invited chairmen of major industrial enterprises such as Concern "Electromash", OJSC “Company “Dnipro”, SE "Kherson factory of ship equipment and ship fittings", OJSC "Industrial Glass Company", LLC "Kherson Machine-Building Factory", SE "Dnipro-semiconductors", PE Shipbuilding company "Marina Group".

Questions that have been considered at the meeting concerned the current condition and trends of the development of Kherson industrial complex and strategy of creation favorable investment climate in the industrial sector, cooperation and exchanging of experience with Ukrainian and foreign partners; systematic information exchange between Kherson enterprises and their foreign partners; creating the Club of directors of industrial enterprises; training and retraining of qualified staff for the industrial complex.

Participants were satisfied with the results of prospective and creative work and decided to organize a "round table" for consideration and resolving urgent problems of industry in Kherson region.
