2010.09.24 – 27 – 21st Assembly IBSC and 7th Meeting of IBSC BC
On September 24 – 27, 2010 21st Assembly of The International Black Sea Club was held in the city of Kavala, Greece. Agenda of the event included the elections of both Assembly Head and Protocol Secretariat, discussion of the Club’s financial state, consideration of organizational and membership issues etc. Representatives of nineteen city-members of IBSC participated in the Assembly.
Members of The International Black Sea Club were presented Activities of IBSC Board and Executive Directorate report, IBSC Secretariat and Comptroller report for the period since the previous 20th IBSC Assembly (May, 2009).
Cities of Anapa and Stavropol as well as Temryuk municipal area became the
newly elected members of the Club. The upcoming 22nd IBSC Assembly was decided
to be held in Azov (Russia) in September, 2011.

The 7th Meeting of The International Black Sea Club Business Council held within the Assembly on September 25, 2010 brought together the representatives of seven CCIs, being its valid members. Specialist of the International Cooperation Centre Ms. Hanna Syrchyna represented the Kherson Chamber of Commerce and Industry on behalf of the President.
Meeting agenda included summarizing the “Problems and Prospects of Cooperation between Southeast European countries within the Black Sea Economic Cooperation”, 7th International scientific conference, held in September, 2009 in Sevastopol. Mr. Gennadiy Semenikhin, Manager of Mariupol department of the Donetsk Chamber of Commerce and Industry, underlined the importance of Conference’s materials and high value of the event for both scientific and economical circles.
Draft of the regional IBSC BC competition (project title – “Leader of Black Sea Market International Cooperation”) was also discussed during the meeting. As planned, the competition will be aimed at enterprises and institutions realizing their activities in Black Sea region. Purpose of the competition is stimulation of Black Sea business entities’ international cooperation. For the current moment the competition working group is already established.
