2010.09.16-17 - Kherson CCI on the II-nd Pridnestrovian Investment Forum
Vice-President of the Kherson Chamber of Commerce and Industry S. Kocherzhenko participated in the second Pridnestrovian Investment Forum, which was organized on September, 16-17 in Tiraspol by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic. Forum was held with the assistance of the PMR President, supported by the Supreme Council and the Cabinet of Ministers of PMR.
The main objectives of the Forum - increasing investment activity in Pridnestrovie, a demonstration of its investment potential, the organization of presentations of projects to attract investment in the economy and social sphere, as well as the formation of an attractive image of the territory as a whole. The Forum was attended by representatives of business circles from 18 countries.
In addition to plenary and thematic sessions meetings and excursions, including visits to major industrial enterprises were held for participants. During the Forum to potential investors were offered 96 investment projects in various industry sections: ''Industry and Energy'', ''Agriculture, Manufacturing, Housing and Communal Services'', ''Health, Sports, Recreation and Tourism" and "Education, culture, sports."


According to the organizers and participants, II-nd Pridnestrovian Investment Forum is an important and effective event, which opens a broad strategic perspectives for the economic development of Pridnestrovie.

During his visit to Tiraspol the Vice-president of Kherson CCI had several important meetings with foreign colleagues from Chambers of Commerce and Industry of Moldova, Abkhazia and Russia. As the KCCI pays much attention to ecological well-being support, also through organizing Ecological Forum “Clean City. Clean River. Clean Planet”, which this year is scheduled on the 18-19 of November, the meeting of S. Kocherzhenko with the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic Minister for Natural Resources and Environmental Monitoring Oleg Kalyakin was of special importance.
