Communicating with leaders of business structures, agricultural producers, the President of the Kherson Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Ostroumova Victoria came to the conclusion that there are farms that do not only want to sell their products in Ukraine, but also want to export it outside of our region. Such farms have different levels of information on export procedures and wish to obtain as much information on this issue.

President of the Kherson Chamber of Commerce and Industry Ostroumova Victoria proposed the leadership of Kherson Customs and the State Inspectorate of Plant Quarantine in the Kherson region to hold a joint informative and training seminar and received full support from Vitaly Bulyuk and Andrei Derkach.

In July 2, 2010 in the conference hall of Kherson Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Kherson, Gagarin Str., 34) was held the seminar on the topic: "The order of agricultural exports to CIS countries and the European Community". During the seminar, representatives of the Kherson Customs provided information on the accreditation of enterprises - subjects of foreign economic activity in the Kherson Customs, familiarized with the qualifier of goods of foreign economic activity, with international rules "Incoterms 2000" and the list of documents required for customs clearance of agricultural products.

The representatives of Kherson Chamber of Commerce and Industry presented the participants with the order of issuing certificates of origin, informed about the services of the Centre of International Cooperation of Kherson Chamber of Commerce and Industry to find foreign partners through trade missions in the consulates of the CIS and the European Community, and also provided information on the confirmation of force majeure.

Chairman of the Association of farms of Kherson region Halupenko M.V. made a proposal to publish such information in regional newspapers, and speeches on television and holding of seminars in regional centres, which will be convenient to come for farmers.

In addition, during the seminar, the representative of the State Inspectorate of Plant Quarantine in the Kherson region provided issues of procedure for issuing phytosanitary certificates and provided the list of documents required for its registration.

Director of Ltd. "Cicada", which engaged in export of agricultural products of own production, Matkovsky V.I., gave a lot of interesting information from his own experience of export of agricultural products to CIS countries.

The seminar attracted great interest and response among farmers and agricultural producers of the Kherson region and provided them with useful background information, which will be helpful for them in foreign economic activity.
