The event was attended by First Vice-President of the Kherson CCI Valentina Udod, Deputy Mayors Sergei Cherevko, Yuri Khristich, co-workers of Economic Development Department of Kherson City Executive Committee, representatives of small and medium business of Kherson. The main purpose of the meeting was to establish bilateral cooperation with Ukraine and the Republic of Korea.

The core issue  was to examine investment opportunities in small and medium business of Kherson region in the sphere of agricultural products  growing, processing or selling.

Co-worker of the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Ukraine Viktor Tsoi noted that for the last 3 years the project of building a training center for ethnic Koreans has been under implementation in Skadovsk district, Kherson region so that everyone who wants could study agriculture technologies. All financial expenses were covered by the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Ukraine. It was also noted that the International Organization for Migration (IOM) had great potential to provide comprehensive assistance, including financial.

Representatives of the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Ukraine confirmed the readiness of their country to develop mutually beneficial economic relations with the Kherson enterprises,  proposing them to expand  external market, as well as the use of Korean experience in introducing high technologies in the agricultural industry.
