2010.04.27-28 – Kherson CCI took part in the Economical Forum of CIS countries in Donetsk, Ukraine.
The Economical Forum of CIS Countries “Business – Chamber– Government: partnership relations” was held in Donbass-Arena and Donetsk
Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Donetsk, Ukraine on April, 27-28. The
representatives of Chambers of Commerce, business-circles, diplomatic organizations
of Ukraine, Russia, Belorussia, Kazakhstan, Moldova took part in the major
event. Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce, Russian Chamber of Commerce and the
Executive Committee of CIS took the lead of Forum. The Ukrainian delegation
was headed by the UCCI President Sergei Skripchenko. The delegation of Russian
Federation was headed by the Vice-President of RCCI Georgy Petrov. The Kherson
CCI was represented by the KCCI President's advisory Tatiana Brykova and
the head of International Cooperation Center Larisa Ponomarenko.
The Economical Forum became a court for the experience exchanging in spheres of trans-regional and international cooperation, closer fruitful cooperation of business, Chambers of Commerce and governmental authorities. In the current context the priorities of state-to-state relations are moving towards the regional level and the extending of direct relations between the territories of neighbor friendly countries. The important role in this process play Chambers of Commerce and Industry, which support the development of foreign economical relations both of individual enterprises and whole regions. Besides, exactly Chambers of Commerce and Industry are those firm bridge that connects business and governmental authorities.


The questions of business communities and government partnership concerning the solution of priority innovation projects within the necessity of the quickest transition to the new economical model and the technological renewal of the whole production industry of CIS countries were taken up separately. In connection with this the role of Chambers of Commerce and industry acquires a great significance as they represent not only the interests, but also the positions of entrepreneurs, top managers, specialists, scientists and experts associations.
Several roundtable discussions were held within the Economical Forum which also included the creation of Russia, Belorussia and Kazakhstan Customs Union, trans-regional and cross-border cooperation, innovation and informational technologies.
During the work of Forum KCCI President's Advisory Tatiana Brykova met with the partners of Kherson Chamber of Commerce and Industry from Smolensk, Chelyabinsk and Minsk and conducted negotiations concerning cooperation withing the current agreements.
