On March 05, 2010 V. V. Ostroumova participated in the International Economic Forum of CIS member states: "New initiatives in the Year of Russia's chairmanship in CIS" in Moscow.

The Forum was attended by the heads of government of Russia and the CIS member countries, industry associations and large holding companies, NGOs, representatives of leading businesses of the Commonwealth. The main task of carrying out - to discuss the prospects of implementation strategies and ways of further strengthening of economic integration.

The Forum held thematic sections with different directions: cooperation in the energy, transport and construction industries, in financial and banking sector, in IT and electronic trading, as well as in pharmaceuticals, nano-and biotechnology.

Participants get acquainted with perspective projects and exchanged views with representatives of governments and businesses to further expand business cooperation.

According to the Forum, one of the main topics for discussion on the innovative field created by the CIS should be developing and implementing energy and resource saving technologies, which are popular not only in our market, but in the world. In this key training of qualified personnel is the basis for future development and for promotion competitiveness.
