Round table “Perspective of animal production development in Kherson region. Environmental advantages and competitiveness potential”took place in KCCI's Support Center for Rrojects of Regional Development under the chairmanship of the KCCI's vice-president Mr. Sergey Kocherzhenko, with the participation of top management of the “Association of Tavrian Farmers” and the Kherson Regional Environmental Council.

The meeting was attended by Chairman of the Regional Environmental Council Mr. G.Romanenko, deputy head of “Association of Tavriam Farmers” Mr. A.Saleckiy, head of KCCI's Support Center for Rrojects of Regional Development Ms. G.Ivanova, KCCI's ecologist Ms. K.Karpenkova.

According to opinion of Mr. Saletsky thee strategy of cattle breeding revival should have programme-based directions and governmental support, should be based          on increase of production capacities of small farm and private enterprises, initiation of agricultural Cooperatives. Participants of the round table had discussed conditions of holding a conference on meat and dairy development issues in August. There was decided to invite  producers and processors of agricultural raw materials, farmers, representatives of authorities and local self-government, ecologists.
