2012.10.03 – Trans-European Mobility Programme for University Studies.
Within the TEMPUS draft program in September 2012 in Kherson there took place an offside summer school. TEMPUS (Trans-European Mobility Programme for University Studies) is an educational program that supports modernization of system of higher education and develops a space for collaboration in countries - EU partners. The Programme funds intercollegiate collaboration in the field of development and improvement of academic programs, universities' management, interaction between scientists and community, partnership of education and business, structural reforms in the field of higher education.
Representatives of 4 Ukrainian universities (including Kherson State Agrarian University), universities of Italy, Bulgaria, Portugal, Germany participated in offside summer school. Among the participants there also were representatives of Kherson CCI. The project goal is to create and to implement the master course “Expert examination and quality inspection of food stuffs”. It will make it possible to find a particular solution for a problem of specialists' deficit and to spread experience of specialists' training for other educational institutions.
During the operational period of the summer school the specialists of universities – participants of the project have presented their master courses and shared their experience in the field of educational services. Their ideas were represented in the source book of the 4th International Ecological Forum “Clean City. Clean River. Clean Planet”. There are lot of common features between the ideas of TEMPUS projects and specialities of the Forum, especially in the idea of modernization of current academic programs and implementation of new ones, including requirements of ECTS (European Credit Transfer System) and the recognition of diplomas in different spheres of training – agriculture, environment, tourism etc.
