On September, 28, under the chairmanship of KCCI president Ms. Viktoriya Ostroumova there was a working conference on issues of support of territories' sustainable development.

During the negotiations there was discussed the necessity of comprehensive approach for formation of sustainable regional development strategy, supporting of system and professional approach to the relevant strategy development. The conference participants discussed the necessity of involvement of multi-segment experts: ecologists, economists, directors of regional landscape protected areas and forestry, land surveyors, scientist- agrarians, representatives of authorities and local government, Emergency Ministry etc.

The main idea of the meeting: the base for elaboration and practical realization of sustainable regional development strategy should be a complex designed approach which takes into account the relevant risks and different factors that provide multilateral advantages of Kherson region and ensure its sustainable competitiveness. The main goal is a social result.
