On June 27, 2012, entrepreneurs of Kherson region attended the meeting with Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Argentine Republic in Ukraine Ms. Lila Roldan Vazquez de Moine in the conference hall of the Kherson Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

President of the Kherson CCI Ms. Viktoriya Ostroumova, Head of Kherson Regional State Administration's External Relations and Foreign Economic Affairs Department Ms. Inga Pavlovskaya, as well as representatives of Kherson companies and travel agencies participated in the meeting. Ms. Elena Shchennikova, which was acting as an interpreter - an expert from Economic and Commercial Section of the Embassy of Argentina in Ukraine, was present on the part of the Argentine delegation.

One of the aims of Mrs. de Moine’s visiting Kherson as well as Nikolaev region is the cooperation field expansion, opportunities of cooperation between Argentine and Ukrainian shipbuilders, for what the meetings were arranged in PJSC "Black Sea Shipbuilding Yard" in Nikolaev and JSC "Kherson Shipbuilding Yard" in Kherson.

At the meeting Mrs. Ambassador spoke of economic situation in Argentine, priority branches of Argentine and also said that Ukraine and Argentine established  caregiving relationships directed on further improvement and deepening of cultural and economic aspects.

Mrs. Lila Roldan Vazquez de Moine also told that in Kiev there was opened a school of tour operators aimed at a deeper study of tourism opportunities in Argentine under the auspices of the Embassy of the Argentine Republic. Once a month, the school holds seminars for a group of 30 participants. Specialists, experts and invited guests tell participants of the seminars about tourist industry in Argentina, the possible tourist routes, show presentation video clips.

Kherson business representatives, who are interested in cooperation, presented Ms. Ambassador their companies, shared their experiences and discussed the opportunities for tourist business development in both directions.

The presentation was followed by tasting of Argentine wines.
