During the meeting it was noted that, despite years of statements had been declared by the authorities, the supporting of innovation activity in Ukraine is outside the proper attention.  The role of negative factors often play both insufficient level of innovation projects and a sharp decline in professional training of officials, involved in the government agencies responsible for the development of innovative ways. In full it comes to agriculture, processing and light industries.       

However, V.Belyakov emphasized the fact, that Prydneprovsk Research Center endeavor to support the domestic scientific developments. The administration of Dnipropetrovsk region is interested today in the organization’s experience in the area of development and implementation of innovative programs.    

In her turn, G.Ivanova noted, that the Kherson CCI for several years successfully working with a number of Dnepropetrovsk research organizations and enterprises, citing the example of cooperation with the Dnepropetrovsk Agrarian University in the frame of sheep revival project "The Golden Fleece of Tavriya". According to her, the innovative projects in agriculture and processing industries are in particular interest for Kherson. The interaction of Kherson and Dnepropetrovsk regions in the field of technology transfer, promotion of scientific ideas and the exchange of practical experience is mutually beneficial and promising. According to the results of communication, parties discussed plans for further cooperation for the near future.  

THE UKRAINIAN CHAMBER OF COMMERCE AND INDUSTRY:

On June 17, in the Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the President of UCCI Gennady Chizhikov, the Chairman of Dnepropetrovsk Regional Council Evgeny Udod, the Vice-Chairman of Dnepropetrovsk State Regional Administration Stanislav Molokov and the President of Dnepropetrovsk Chamber of Commerce and Industry Vitaly Zhmurenko formally signed a Memorandum of Cooperation.    Within the context of signed Memorandum, the parties plan to contribute jointly to the creation of appropriate conditions for the business development in the region.
