Continuing to develop the partnership, which had been established last year with Subcarpathian Voivodeship of Poland, Kherson delegation visited Rzeszow, the capital of the Voivodeship.  

Within the context of the visit, on June 23, there took place the meeting with Mr. Luciani KUZNIAR, Vice-Governor of Subcarpathian Voivodeship and Ms. Maria Mihur-Zimba, Deputy Director of Department for region promotion and tourism. President of the Kherson CCI Victoria Ostroumova and Deputy Director for Department of Agricultural Development of Kherson Regional State Administration Margarita Stepanova discussed with Polish colleagues issues of economic and social development, particularly in the field of European programs in agriculture. Regarding to the force of Cooperation Agreement between Kherson region and Subcarpathian Voivodeship, the need to identify specific actions arises in order to put the job of this document into practice. The main areas of cooperation are trade and economic relations, culture, tourism and environmental protection.    

On June 24, Kherson delegation met with the administration of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Rzeszów - President Micheslav Lagovsky and Director Ryszard Kisala, and also visited several processing plants: in the city Lezajsk - refining capacity of "Hortino» company (www.poltino.pl), which is engaged in deep-freeze fruits and vegetables. In Gorno - meat processing plant of “Smak Gorno” Company (www.smakgorno.pl), which produces a line of environmentally clean products (technology E "0").  In the village Tsmolas - private company«Cmol-Frut», specializing in fruits and vegetables processing.  Besides the production process, Polish companies have also demonstrated the use of alternative energy sources in the work of enterprise.
