On November 27, the first Vice-President of the Kherson Chamber of Commerce and Industry Valentina Udod and Vice-President Sergey Kocherzhenko had a meeting with Consul of Kyrgyzstan Embassy in Ukraine Batyr Kadyrkulov, representative of the Kyrgyzstan Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Ukraine Azamat Ismailov and with journalist of Television and Radio broadcasting Company  of Kyrgyzstan Artem Slon’.

Close cooperation of Kherson Chamber of Commerce and Industry with the Kyrgyzstan Embassy in Ukraine began in 2013 during the International invest forum. A few times last year Kyrgyzstan Delegation headed by ambassador Ulukbek Chinaliev visited Kherson. Within the visits, in Kherson Chamber of Commerce and Industry there was a meeting of business circles of Kherson Region with representatives of Kyrgyzstan Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Ukraine, other events, aimed at cultural ties development between the countries, were also held.

Valentina Udod in her interview to journalist of Kyrgyzstan TV Company told about mutual work, export structure from Kherson Region to Kyrgyzstan, widening of economic cooperation.

Artem Slon’, a journalist of the leading of Kyrgyzstan TV channel visited Ukraine with a group of Kyrgyzstan journalists, who spent in Ukraine about two weeks. They visited different regions of the country. The TV broadcosting dedicated to Kherson will tell about economic ties and cooperation between the Kyrgyzstan Embassy and the Kherson Chamber. Attention will be also devoted to the graves of Kyrgyz people located in Kherson Region. One of such places is in settlement Vinogradovo in Tsiurupinsk area ant the other one – in village Krestovka, Chaplynka district.  

Valentina Udod told, that last year among commercial partners of Ukraine Kyrgyzstan took the 9th place among CIS countries. External turnover between our countries was almost 160 million US dollars. The main articles of Ukrainian export in Kyrgyzstan Republic are agricultural goods, chemical industry products, engineering, iron and steel industry productions. Concerning export from Kherson Region, the Kherson companies delivered confectionary, canned vegetables, ketchups, sunflower seed cake, rise, doors and MDF products, electric driven pumps and diodes into Kyrgyzstan.

However, the variety of production, which Kherson companies are ready to deliver on to the Kyrgyzstan markets, is much wider.  This can be construction adhesives and sealants, vaccines and other medicines for cattle breeding, canned fruits and vegetables, juices. “The Kherson Confectionary” Ltd.  and TPK “New style” would like to increase their presence on Kyrgyzstan market. Despite the fact, that the share of production of the “New style” company on the Kyrgyzstan market is 30 percent now, the company is interested in coming to the south Regions of Kyrgyzstan, as its production is widely sold only in the northern part of the country.

We hope that this broadcasting, which dedicated to cooperation between the Kherson CCI and Embassy of Kyrgyzstan Republic in Ukraine, will allow citizens of Kyrgyzstan to learn more about our Region and will contribute to further development of economic and cultural relations between Kherson and Kyrgyzstan Republic.
