On March 23, 2018, president of the Kherson CCI Viktoria Ostroumova and director of the "Amalteya" Ltd Sergiy Rybachok participated in the general meeting of members of the Ukrainian part of  Ukrainian-Turkmen Business Council (UTBC) held at the Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Kyiv.

During the meeting there were considered various aspects of the current and future activities of the council, including the creation of joint trade houses both in Ukraine and in Turkmenistan.

It is expected that the activity of such houses will become an effective tool for the development of small and medium-sized businesses.

During the meeting, in the context of the year proclaimed "Turkmenistan - the heart of the Great Silk Road", guests were presented with the potential and role of Turkmenistan in the development of international transit and transport cooperation with Ukraine and EU countries. In particular, the completion of construction of new Turkmenbashy seaport was announced, which will open additional opportunities for increasing trade between Ukraine and Turkmenistan.
